In keeping with this principle of reconciliation through trusted ADR mechanisms, PADRA facilitates the resolution of family disputes, including guardianship and custody of minor children, through trained and accredited mediators. As set out in Schedule I of the Punjab Alternate Dispute Resolution Act 2019, such disputes are referred to ADR, offering families a confidential and dignified alternative to prolonged litigation.
